Products
What size are your bakes?
Our bakes are roughly sized as followed:
Brownies - 7.5cm squared by 3cm height.
Deep Dish Cookies - 9cm diameter by 3.5cm height.
Stuffed Cookies - 9-10cm diameter
How long do your baked items last for?
Our treats are handmade from scratch in small batches, in our 5-star rated kitchen.
As we never add preservatives, they’re best enjoyed fresh. Please refer to the Best Before date on the product label for guidance.
Keep them sealed in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
During hot weather, we recommend storing Deep Dish Cookies, and Brownies in the fridge, in airtight containers.
Do all your bakes contain Nuts?
No, we do have some options without Nuts, on our website! The full list of allergens are listed on each product page, so please make sure you check them before ordering.
It is important to note that Pure Bakes handles WHEAT, SOYA & NUTS.
Even though we do not have Milk or Eggs in our kitchen, some products may contain traces of MILK or EGG due to the manufacturing process of those ingredients.

Do all your bakes contain Gluten?
Yes, all our bakes in our website contain Gluten, although we do have options without Gluten for sale in our markets.

Where can I find the Allergen Information?

Gifting
When should I place my order if it’s for a specific date (e.g. a birthday)?
If your order is for a special date, such as a birthday or gift, you can place your order at any time.
Simply toggle “Send on a specific date?” on the product page and choose your preferred dispatch date using the calendar.
We’ll dispatch your order on the selected date via Royal Mail Tracked 24, which usually arrives the next working day.
While delays are rare, delivery times are managed by Royal Mail and are outside our control.
Can I send your bakes as a gift to someone?
Absolutely! A sweet treat is always a nice gift to receive.
Can I add a gift message to my delivery?
Absolutely! On the product page, simply switch on ‘Would you like to send this as a gift?’, choose a card and add your message. We’ll hand-write it and include it in the box when it’s sent to your recipient.
Can I choose the card for my gift message?
Yes you can. We have a few different designs to choose from.

Will the recipient know how much I’ve paid for it?
All our items are delivered with no price or invoice included, so do make sure you keep hold of any email order confirmations.
E-Gift Cards
Do you have E-Gift cards?
Yes we do. You can choose any value between £15, £25, £40 and £60.
How do I buy a E-Gift card?
- Head over to our E-Gift Card page at the bottom menu of our website.
- Choose the amount you would like to gift and select the option "I want to send this as a gift.
- Fill in the E-Gift card details, add to cart and complete your checkout.
- Once the purchase has been completed, an email containing the E-Gift card will be sent to the recipient's email address.
Can I add a personalised message to my E-Gift Card?
Yes of course! You can, when filling the details for the E-Gift card, there's a message box, so you can write anything up to 200 characters.
How will the recipient receive their E-Gift card?
Once the purchase has been completed, an email containing the E-Gift card will be sent to the recipient's email address. The E-Gift card will contain a code which they can use on our website to redeem their E-Gift card at checkout.
How do I redeem my E-Gift card?
You will need your unique code from your E-Gift card. To redeem your E-Gift card, go to our website, add your products to the shopping cart and enter this code at checkout.
How do I check my E-Gift card balance?
Head over to our E-Gift Card page and select “Check E-Gift Card Balance”. You can check your E-Gift card balance from here by entering the unique code from your E-Gift card.
Packaging & Sustainability
Is your packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes, we’re always working to use packaging that’s as environmentally friendly as possible, while still protecting your bakes during delivery.
Our packaging is made from a mix of recyclable, biodegradable and compostable materials, chosen to balance sustainability with safe postal delivery.
Which parts of the packaging can I recycle?
Most of our packaging is fully recyclable, including:
– Cardboard treat box
– Salmon tissue paper
– Mailing bag
These can be recycled through standard household recycling.
Is your bubble wrap eco-friendly?
Yes, we use green biodegradable bubble wrap, which is both eco-friendly and 100% recyclable.
It provides essential protection for your treats in transit while being kinder to the environment than traditional plastic bubble wrap.
The bubble wrap is made from materials that can break down naturally in the environment, reducing its impact on ecosystems.
Are the cookie bags compostable?
Yes, our individual cookie bags are made from compostable and sustainable materials, designed to break down naturally in the right composting conditions.
Why do you still use protective packaging at all?
We aim to reduce environmental impact wherever possible, but we also need to ensure your bakes arrive safely and in perfect condition.
We carefully choose protective materials that are more sustainable alternatives, so your treats are well protected without unnecessary waste.
