Our products are perishable food items and should be stored, handled and consumed in accordance with any storage or shelf life guidance provided with the order, on the website or on the product packaging.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, they are non-returnable except where they are faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described.

We are not responsible for deterioration in quality caused by improper storage, delayed opening, or failure to follow any care or storage instructions provided.

SECTION 15 - DELIVERY AND DISPATCH

Any dispatch times, delivery estimates or transit times shown on our website are estimates only, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once an order has been dispatched and handed to the courier, delivery is subject to the courier’s service and we are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather, service disruption, access issues, failed delivery attempts or events outside our reasonable control.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel where appropriate, and to monitor tracking information provided for the delivery.

If a parcel is delivered to a safe place, neighbour, nominated recipient or other location in accordance with the delivery preferences selected by the customer, responsibility for the parcel passes once delivery has been completed by the courier in accordance with those instructions.

SECTION 16 - CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

As our products are perishable food items, orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless the goods are faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, you must contact us as soon as possible and provide any information or photographs reasonably requested so that we can assess the matter.

We reserve the right to refuse cancellations once an order has been prepared, baked, packed or dispatched, as work may already have begun on fulfilling the order.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

SECTION 17 - INCORRECT ADDRESS

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address and any delivery instructions provided at checkout are correct and complete.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and this results in a failed delivery, delay, return to sender, disposal of the parcel by the courier, or delivery to the wrong address, Pure Bakes cannot accept responsibility for any loss or deterioration of the products.

As our products are perishable, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for orders affected by incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.

Any additional costs incurred for redelivery or re-making an order will be the responsibility of the customer.

SECTION 18 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We do not guarantee that your use of our website or service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions.

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, delays or failures caused by third-party delivery services, inaccurate information provided by the customer, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
